Elon Musk makes it very clear which type he is! The live-stream of the launch is here.
In presentations I have made in the last eighteen months, I refer to the challenges within modern labour markets of automation, robotics and more broadly, what we understand to be the rise of artificially intelligent systems. Automation and specifically autonomous vehicles loom large in these policy discussions as it relates to one of the largest categories of employment in many/most countries.
Consider the rise of the electric [lithium battery] vehicle and its manufacture, coinciding with the closure/shuttering of the Australia automative manufacturing industry. Perhaps also consider that Australia stands in the top four global reserves of Lithium only behind China, Chile and Argentina.
We have FOUR times the reserves of the United States.
This is not a trivial thing.
Although, many disagree.
